    But the market is in fact much larger when you reckon the under-served demand:

  • 65% women take plus sizes but contribute only to 20% of clothes sold.
  • 50% women don’t conform to standard sizes as their body shape is not the hour-glass that the size-charts assumes. So the upper body could be a Size 8 while the lower body a Size 12.
  • 40% women are shorter/taller than the height size charts assume (5’4”-5’6”)
  • 100% women have unique style preferences. They know the necklines, sleeves and hemline that work for them and those that don’t. But they don’t get the option to get what suits them best. That leaves money on the table.
